Hello! I’m Prachi Agarwal, the heart behind Ravishing Gifts. Ravishing Gifts is my journey, a story of childhood dreams, artistic expression, and the blending of two worlds into one. A journey that has been anything but ordinary.
For as long as I can remember, creativity has been the language of my soul. A little girl sewing dresses for my dolls, sculpting art from broken glass vases, I’ve always seen beauty in unexpected places. I studied design in school and brought to life my dream early on. But life took its beautiful, unpredictable turns!
I traveled across continents to make Illinois my home. Embraced my new life, raised two wonderful boys, and became a successful corporate professional. The artist in me yearned for an outlet all through.
A quiet part of me, kept nudging and I found an outlet in creating unique traditions—blending Diwali sweets reimagined as cookies and chocolates, a vegetarian spin on the Thanksgiving turkey, and a Christmas table adorned with Banarasi sarees. My home became a celebration of my Indian heritage and my life here in the U.S., a canvas of fusion, creativity, and love.
Through countless celebrations—weddings, graduations, and festivals—I often wished for a gift that reflected who I had become and the life I had built, something that connected emotion, tradition, and artistry. Ravishing Gifts grew from that desire to bring emotion back into gifting—to offer items that are not just beautiful, but deeply connected to culture, celebration, and craftsmanship.
In this journey, I was fortunate to connect with remarkable women entrepreneurs—artisans and creators whose craft is born of passion and integrity. Together, we celebrate creativity through every gift, each one infused with the heartfelt artistry and connection that define us.
